Article 1 – Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
Withdrawal period: the period during which the consumer can exercise their right of return.
Consumer: the natural person who does not act in the course of a business and enters into a distance contract with the entrepreneur.
Day: calendar day.
Right of return: the option for the consumer to withdraw from the distance contract within the withdrawal period.
Entrepreneur: the person who offers products to consumers at a distance.
Distance contract: a contract concluded between the entrepreneur and the consumer through online sale, without the two being physically in the same place.

Article 3 – Applicability
These General Terms and Conditions apply to every offer and every order concluded between Beverly & June and the consumer. Before an order is concluded, these terms are made available to the consumer. If one or more provisions are found to be void, the remaining terms remain in force.
By placing an order on our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these General Terms and Conditions, including our Returns, Shipping, and Refund policies.

Article 4 – The Offer
Offers with a limited duration or special conditions are stated as such. Product descriptions are as accurate as possible, and images are a true representation, though slight colour differences may occur depending on your screen. The offer clearly states the price, any shipping costs, and the payment and delivery terms.

Article 5 – The Contract
The contract is concluded when the consumer accepts the offer and payment is confirmed. You'll receive an email confirmation once your order is placed.

Article 6 – Right of Return
Consumers may return products within 30 days of receiving their order, in original, unworn condition with tags attached, as set out in our Returns Policy.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which apply to all purchases — including sale items — where goods are faulty, not as described, or not fit for purpose.

Article 7 – Costs in Case of Return
Unless an item arrived faulty or incorrect, the consumer bears the cost of return shipping. The return address and instructions are provided once a return request is approved. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of us receiving and checking the returned item.

Article 8 – Exclusion of the Right of Return
For hygiene reasons, some items cannot be returned once opened (for example earrings or intimate apparel). This will be indicated on the product page. This exclusion does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty or misdescribed goods.

Article 9 – The Price
Prices shown at the time of your order apply to that order. Prices may change over time, but a confirmed order will not increase in price after it's placed.

Article 10 – Compliance and Warranty
We guarantee that products meet the description provided and reasonable standards of quality and usability, consistent with the Australian Consumer Law.

Article 11 – Delivery and Execution
We process orders with care. Orders are typically delivered within 5–8 business days after shipping. During busy periods, our moving sale, or in exceptional cases, delivery can take longer — up to 20–30 days. Delays within this timeframe do not qualify as "non-delivery". Tracking is provided for every order. If delivery is delayed beyond this period, we'll notify you as soon as possible.

Article 12 – Payment
Payment is completed at the time of purchase and processed securely. We reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies in product descriptions, pricing, or availability.

Article 13 – Complaints
Complaints can be submitted by email to support@beverlyandjune.com. We aim to respond within one business day.

Article 14 – Applicable Law
Beverly & June sells to customers in Australia. These terms and any purchase are governed by the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Article 15 – Amendments
We may amend these terms. The version published on beverlyandjune.com at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order.

Article 16 – Shipping and Returns
Orders are shipped with Australia Post. Return instructions and the return address are provided once your return request has been approved. We aim to be transparent about the return process — if you have any questions, contact us at support@beverlyandjune.com.

Article 17 – Customs and Taxes
Orders shipped within Australia are not subject to import duties. Should any tax apply to an order, it will be shown at checkout.

Article 18 – Legal Note
Our returns and exchange process may be updated from time to time. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
